Beginning of Something

Paint is layered and then scratched into with a found piece of metal, razor blade, or the likes of a putty knife as well as applying graphite marks on the surface. My process is spontaneous and physical: I try to unearth each image without getting mired down in the conscious details. Painting is not an intellectual activity and I don’t want the results to be predictable. Vocabulary will reappear and repeat over time, and I let it.
